With the alarming 38% increase in business-targeted cyberattacks in 2022, there’s never been a better time to protect your and your client’s data. Not all security products are created to serve the same purpose, so how can you determine the solutions best suited for your business needs?

For small to mid-sized businesses, cyber-attacks can be detrimental to your company. Protecting your business starts with understanding the current security standards so that you are better prepared for potential cyber attacks. Asking your Managed Service Provider (MSP) the right questions and choosing the right services are vital not only for your business’s integrity but also for protecting your client’s data.

On this episode of The Cyber Business Podcast, Matthew Connor welcomes Eric Pinto, Senior Director of Channel and Product Strategy at SOCSoter, Inc. They discuss the benefits of transparent communication with Managed Service Providers (MSPs), the current cybersecurity standards, how security solutions will adapt to the remote workforce, and staying ahead of IT trends. Eric also shares his expert insights on the changes to the California Privacy Act and its influence on national privacy laws.
