Your team is already using AI. The question is what it can see.
Staff are pasting emails, contracts and spreadsheets into AI tools today, often without a policy. Copilot can find any file a user has permission to open, including the ones that were shared too widely years ago. We help you find out where AI is already in use, close the gaps, and roll out the tools your team wants with guardrails in place. Productivity comes from the AI. Peace of mind comes from us.
What you get
1. Security & AI Governance Assessment
Know exactly where you stand before you commit to anything. We find the AI tools already in use across your business, show you where sensitive data could be exposed, and give you a clear, prioritized list of fixes. Pricing: a fixed-scope quote after a short call.
2. AI acceptable-use policy
Give your team a clear yes, no and how. We write a plain-English policy for your business: which AI tools are approved, which are blocked, and what data must never go into them. Your people stop guessing, and you have something to show clients, auditors and insurers.
3. Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness
Turn on Copilot without surfacing the files nobody should see. Before Copilot goes live we:
- Clean up oversharing in SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams, so old "everyone" links stop being a risk.
- Set up Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels and data loss prevention (DLP) rules so your confidential files stay confidential.
- Tighten identity: multifactor sign-in, Conditional Access and the right licenses for the right people.
4. Copilot pilot, then rollout
See the value before you pay for every seat. We start with a small pilot group and real use cases from your business, review the results with you, and then roll Copilot out to the rest of the team once it's proven and secure.
5. Ongoing AI and data-leak monitoring
Find out about risky AI use before it becomes an incident. Depending on your environment, we use DarkTrace or Microsoft Defender to watch for unsanctioned AI tools and unusual data movement, and we act on what we find.

AI FAQs
What is AI governance, and does a small business need it?
AI governance is the set of rules and controls covering which AI tools your team can use, what data can go into them, and how you monitor that. If your staff use ChatGPT, Copilot or similar tools with client or financial data, you need at least a basic version: a policy, data protections and visibility.
How do I know if we're ready for Microsoft Copilot?
You're ready when the right users are licensed, sign-ins are protected with multifactor authentication, files aren't shared more widely than they should be, and sensitive data carries Purview labels. Copilot can surface anything a user has access to, so permissions and labels come first.
Does Microsoft Copilot expose our confidential files?
Copilot respects your existing Microsoft 365 permissions, so it won't break into files a user can't already open. But if those permissions are too loose, Copilot makes overshared files much easier to find. Cleaning up oversharing and applying sensitivity labels fixes that.
What should a small business AI policy include?
It should list approved and prohibited tools, the types of data that must never be entered into AI, who approves new tools, how AI output should be checked before use, and what to do if something goes wrong. Keep it short enough that people actually read it.
Can you tell if employees are using unapproved AI tools?
Yes. Using DarkTrace or Microsoft Defender, depending on your setup, we can spot unsanctioned AI apps and unusual data uploads, then block or follow up on them with you.
How much does the Security & AI Governance Assessment cost?
Every business is different, so we give you a fixed-scope quote after a short call. You'll know the exact scope and price before any work starts.
